In the last
3 years, Hanstholm Camping has undergone significant
development. The key words are environment, innovation
and last but not least, development of our guests’
possibilities. We are happy to be able to welcome you to
yet another season filled with news. |

|
The water
park has been expanded
with another pool, underwater lighting, grass areas,
sun deck, pool bar and a giant water slide that is
35 metres long. The water slide, a so-called
surfing hill, is the largest of its kind at a
Danish campsite. The solar collectors have been
tripled, which means that we can now guarantee a
minimum temperature of 28ºC from mid-June to
mid-August. We look forward to inaugurating the new
water park during the Whitsun holiday.

Café
Terrassen is also one
of the important news this year. The menu includes
local specialties such as the Hanstholm Platter with
crab claws, salmon and other types of great seafood,
warm fish cakes, a large selection of fresh salads
and tender steaks. We also serve various coffee
specialties and the children obviously have their
very own menu. During the children’s summer holiday,
there will be live music at Café Terrassen at least
once a week, and the café also offers a great Sunday
brunch. The café will be inaugurated during the
Whitsun holiday.

The dog
playground will be the
main attraction of the year for our four-legged
friends, as they do not have to be kept on a short
leash here. The 900 square meter playground
surrounded by willow fence encourages the dog as
well as its best friend to spend many hours
challenging balance, suppleness, obedience and
courage. All obstacles are made with natural
products and in different sizes, which means that
small as well as large dogs can join in. From week
27 to 33, we will be visited by one of the best
obedience trainers in Jutland once a week. The dog
playground will be ready for use from May. Come and
join in!

This year’s
activity plan is for
the whole family. We have gathered the best
experiences in the local area and made special
arrangements with for example the art museum and the
bunker museum, and our own nature guide is obviously
also ready with exciting trips to for example the
national park and the fish auction. If you are
staying at the campsite, all activities, trips and
admission fees that are part of the summer programme
are included in the price.

The
playgrounds have
obviously also undergone the annual inspection. On
the large playground, we can present one of the
children’s favourite pieces of playground equipment
this year: The aerial runway! The more than
50 metres long aerial runway can carry more children
at a time, which means that even though there is a
lot of interest, there is not necessary a long
line.The aerial runway will be opened during the
Easter holiday.
